The queen and the queen September 2001 The Musketeer is number one at the US Box Office. The film starring Deneuve, Tim Roth and Justin Chambers earned more than 10 millions $ for its first week end, the best score for a Deneuve's movie. It's not a huge start, but it could be considered as a good one for the period and all over for a movie with such bad reviews. It's a good point for Deneuve after Dancing in the Dark. She's more and more international than ever. This teen-oriented version of Dumas classic was filming in France and Luxemburg. She's playing the Queen of France. In Le Ptit Poucet (The Little Thumb) (in french theaters in october), she's also playing the Queen of France. A good one. You could see her only at the end of the movie, during 5 minutes. Perfect.
