Citizen Deneuve August 2001 It was official in june. Catherine Deneuve is ready for the big jump. The media group Emap France (Studio Magazine, Le Film Français, TeleStar) and the star will launch next november a magazine (published every two months, oriented to women). She won't be a Public Relation, the face or the name to sell it. She will decide, criticize, make or not make it. She is the inspiring soul of the project. The art of life will be the main thema : home, beauty, food, and harmony are considered as the essential elements of the editorial strategy. Elegance and esthetism have to be a way to change our daily lives. A sort of "O" (from Oprah Winfrey) for french. The goal is to print 100 000 magazines in France, before to launch foreign editions.
